coffee chats

If we were having coffee today, I would tell you that these are the days I prayed for, longed for, and maybe even grieved for, when I was home with my babies.

If we were having coffee today, I would tell you about all the walks and talks I had with Jesus.  About my calling, my dreams, my family, my future,  and feeling all alone. But still, I had a group of friends.

If we were having coffee today, I would tell you about this season of my life when I fought to get to this season and live in the “here and now.” I would quote the cliche scripture, “I was called…for such a time as this!!” and mean every word of it!

If we were having coffee today, here is the thing I would want you to walk away with… I realize that season of my life was about more than me.

It was about me knowing who I am and what I am truly passionate about, but it was also about me fighting for the women God would bring into my life to walk alongside me. To encourage, to pray with, to stand with, and cheer loudly for as they run their own race! It was about learning to love the journey no matter what it looks like. To trust the process. To jump in with both feet and believe the best.

If we were having coffee today, I would tell you that I am surprised God chose me and honored that He chose me, all in the same breath.

If we were having coffee today, I would tell you to dream the BIG dreams. That you are qualified because if I am qualified, GIRL, you are too.

Let’s go after it together and cheer each other on to the point others get embarrassed!!! That is what I would tell you over coffee today!!!

Make time for coffee ☕️.
